So, after a couple months of searching, and hunting and testing, my brother found the truck he wants. Its a 76' Ford F100, 302 , Auto Long bed and can be seen here: !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . Were are flying down on Saturday and driving back to Boston. Anyone from the area have any recommendations of things to do or places to go while we are down there. This is my first time on a plane and my first time out of new england in 12 years, so to say I am excited would be a bit of an exaggeration. When we get back its getting MSD ignition, Holley carb and depending on the state of the exhaust long tubes.
P.S. The !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! if anyone is interested. $2500 for anyone on Oppo.

My dad had a truck like that in pee yellow when I was a kid. Good times.
I live about an hour and twenty minutes from Athens near Atlanta. As far as Athens goes, it is a college town so there are lots of neat restaurants, a good music scene and funky stores. Check and see if the University of Goergia is playing football that day as it will impact traffic. If you get down to Atlanta, and I assume you are flying into Atlanta, you will want to stop at a Fox Bros BBQ AND/or Fat Matt's Rib Shack. Awesome stuff all around. The Brickstore Pub in Decatur is supposedly one of the top 5 pubs in the country. Get the Brunswick Stew in the bread bowl if you go to Brickrickstore. Stone Mountain Park is an interesting place to visit if the weather is OK. World of Coke, GA Aquarium and the CNN Center are typical tourist stops.

The Craigslist add uses the word original a few times, I didn't know Ford offered a 302 in 1976. The ad says 5.0L, but '76 was definitely before Ford abandon cubic inch as their choice for displacement units. That just makes me a little curious.
The ad says it's in Athens, but I am guessing you are flying into Atlanta. Do you want Atlanta things to do, or just Athens?
